Children's Privacy

Mush Social does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Child Safety Standards Policy

At Mush Social, we are committed to creating a safe and respectful space for all users, especially children and teenagers. As a platform that connects local communities and encourages positive interaction, we fully support Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy, and we implement strict measures to protect minors.

1. Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Mush Social has a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We explicitly prohibit any content or behavior that promotes, generates, or distributes CSAE. This includes, but is not limited to, the grooming of minors, sexual extortion, and the sharing of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

2. Reporting System

Mush includes an in-app reporting feature that allows users to easily report harmful, inappropriate, or suspicious content. Our moderation team reviews and responds to reports promptly and carefully.

3. Protection of Privacy

We are committed to protecting user privacy, particularly that of minors.

• • For users aged 13–17, we follow strict data handling procedures.
• • All data is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable child safety laws.

4. Age Verification

• • Mush is designed for users aged 13 and above.
• • Users must enter their date of birth upon registration.
• • If a user later attempts to change their age, it requires manual verification by our support team, including ID submission.
• • Any user found providing false information about their age will be suspended or removed immediately.

5. Content Moderation & Safety

We utilize a multi-layered moderation approach to maintain a safe environment:

• • AI-driven content scanning for images, videos, and text to detect inappropriate or harmful material.
• • A dedicated moderation team handles reports and flags 24/7.
• • We promptly remove CSAM and take necessary action in line with legal obligations, including reporting to the NCMEC.

6. Access Restrictions for Minors

To prevent exposure to inappropriate content, we apply:

• • Search restrictions on sensitive topics for users under 18.
• • Blocked access to certain channels or communities for users under 18.
• • Age-based filtering of features and visibility.

7. Advertising and Monetization

• • Mush only allows age-appropriate advertising.
• • No adult or misleading ads are permitted.
• • Sponsored content is clearly labeled.
• • No personalized advertising is shown to users identified as under 18.

8. Training & Ongoing Compliance

• • Our team receives ongoing training on child protection policies.
• • We conduct regular audits of our systems and processes to ensure compliance.
• • We follow global safety standards, including guidance from the Tech Coalition.
